"Dance for Bill" was composed by Marilyn Harris as an exciting escapade for French horn and piano.

This triple-meter escapade features long, expressive horn lines with a lively piano underpinning featuring suspended chords and syncopated rhythms.  From beginning to end this piece is very enjoyable to play and a real audience pleaser!

"Dance for Bill" is a GRADE 4-5 French horn solo and highlights the performer's mastery of long lyrical phrases, large intervallic jumps, varied articulations, syncopated rhythms and contrasting dynamics. While notated in the classical style, it implies jazz rhythms and tone.  The duration is approximately 2 minutes.
